Everything happened here,
On the last day of fall
A week after our friend Daniel disappeared.
We were in first or second grade, I don’t remember
But I’ll never forget that day, it’s clear.
Thus begins the adventure of eight children who slip into their closed school at dusk to look for their friend who has disappeared. They stay in their school all night and go on a magical, funny, and sad journey of growing up, where they learn about love and jealousy, fear and courage, friendship and loss.
The play was inspired by the songs and stories of Yehonatan Geffen and includes songs from his book The Sixteenth Sheep.
